What you need to host your chocolate workshop
Enough working space for you and your friends to gather around
A cool room – chocolate doesn’t temper very well in warm environments
(perhaps turn the radiator off a couple of hours before the start of your workshop)
An empty shelf in your fridge to place the moulds in for 10 minutes to help contract the chocolates
Some form of protective covers for the areas we will be working in – chocolate can get quite messy and it’s difficult to remove from fabrics/carpets. Not an issue if you are holding your event in a kitchen area and have wipeable floors.
Prosecco for you and your friends!

All of the stores & equipment required to make the chocolates
(additional 6' tables can be supplied if required please mention on the enquiry form)
Belgian chocolate callets ready to temper
A selection of pre-made fillings – we can discuss the choices prior to the event
Presentation boxes for each person and petit four cases to hold your 24 chocolates
What ever you make is yours to eat, share or gift
You will be given easy to follow step by step demonstrations on each process – mould polishing, mould colouring, mould lining with the chocolate, filling the centres, base covering and finally you will be how to unmould your chocolates
You will be shown how to temper the chocolate for lining the moulds and then a volunteer can temper it a second time for sealing the bases
Plastic aprons and gloves will be provided
Chocolatier - Adrian mastered the art of chocolate making whilst working in a cookery school training chefs. He left the job and with his wife set up a small business specialising in handmade chocolates. We attend a lot of events where we talk to and sell direct to our choco-friends. We receive a lot of requests from interested parties asking about chocolate workshops, so we're taking the plunge and are sharing some ‘tricks of the trade’ with you
Time - The workshop will take between 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on the group size, allow some extra time for setting up and cleaning down
Cost - £35 per person with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 people
Area - within 40 miles Plymouth
Allergens - You will be provided with a list of allergens for each chocolate filling selected upon request. All of the centres are made in the same kitchen facility so there is always a small risk of cross contamination. We can discuss possible alternatives if someone suffers from severe allergic reactions.
Bookings – Weekend bookings available – every Friday/Saturday/Sunday from 5th April to 6th July – week day bookings can be made but will be limited.
Deposit – A £25 deposit will be required once your preferred time and date has been confirmed. This will be non-refundable within the final 72 hours prior to the workshop commencing.
Cancellation Policy –
A workshop can be cancelled at any time up to 72 hours prior to the workshop commencing, and the full £25 deposit will be refunded the next working day.

Any changes to booking dates can be completed via email, however, they aren't live until I have been able to confirm their availability and sent you confirmation.
